Possibilities for TP story to continue?

Like most (if not all) of you I was disappointed and sad to see Midna leaving at the end of TP. But I was thinking: this story raises too many question marks and seems meant to have another chapter, like for example the movie Matrix reloaded. I mean, Link leaving the village and we don't know why and where he's going, Midna breaking the Mirror of Twilight for no official reason (there are a couple of theories but the game doesn't give any official explanation) and too many other things need to be explained.
I think the possibilities about the Twilight Realm (and so Midna) to come back are there, the Mirror was the only KNOWN link between the light and twilight and in a magical fantasy world you can invent thousands of other things to link the two worlds again.
So do you think there are possibilities we'll see this story to continue someway in the next zelda game?
You know, I just cannot imagine Nintendo developing the best Zelda character of all time so well, and then completely forget about it, especially with Tingle (!!!) making so many appearances and having his own game now. The whole game was about Midna in the end, and the title "Twilight Princess" is about her too. You can feel her feelings, you can understand her mind...no other character before has been presented in such a way. Are these "clues" that something could come or I'm just too sad and mad at nintendo and losing my mind?

Hopefully they say something like, "Ohh..... theres another way there, the... Twilight Burger" and then they get Midna back, do some crazy thing that needs them to save Twilight Realm and Hyrule again, maybe before the Great Flood of Hyrule.

There is a new Wii Zelda coming so..

The fact that makes me thing is the new Wii zelda is said to be in development from 1 year...just around the time TP was finished (it was due to be out last year infact) then they adapted it for the Wii.

I just had a thought.Mabye Midna could come back the way the twilight beings came into hyrule?

I dont think she would return unless it was important. The link is gone and if their was another it would be somewhere else, Link would have to return to the Twilight Realm to get her to help him because Midna is a Princess now. You cant just leave anytime.

Of course there should be a reason for this. Anyway I was thinking about how Zant went back and forth from the twilight realm to hyrule...mirror? twilight magic? power of ganon?

But if it was because of Ganon that Zant could come and go from one dimension to another, Midna Could do it too? ...
I remember that in the end of the game Midna say: "Link...See ya later" or something like that... maybe, even if she broke the mirror, she could came back when she need help or something... at least to see Link...but i'm not sure if Link could see her as a Shadow or something like that.

First of all, I don't think that the sequel would take place in Hyrule. Everything has always been done. At the end of the game, we see Link, changed from his adventure, riding off, looking for something new and exciting. He is unable to stay in one place again.

I think hes going to travel to another country, aside from Hyrule, looking for adventure. I think he is going to start off on a simple quest before he finds something more sinister. Maybe Ganondorf is back, maybe something is seriously wrong in the Twilight realm and link needs to find a different way in.

That could be really interesting Dragonis, Link could start off travelling (like in MM or Link's Awakening) and then he could find out something about the Twilight realm and such.

Firstly, Midna tells Link why she must break the mirror. Right after Ghoma in Temple of Time, she says that "we may be building something we will ULTIMATELY HAVE TO DESTROY", becuase she states that the mirror is too EVIL. Thus, it must be destroyed to protect Hyrule.

TP was the teaser: Add a brand new character that palyed an extremely important role, then take her away at end. See how fans react: if they pay no mind, or hate character, then so long Midna...But, if reaction is recieved like the one now, bring back character and make millions!

And to put shame to all those people who like Zelda better then Midna (Send this to TP Zelda fans!), Listen closely to opening music of TP Menu...hmmmm, that's odd, Zelda's theme isn't played at all, just Link's and...MIDNA'S!!! This right away proves that Nintendo prefers Midna, and Legend of Zelda is now just a standard prefix (Look at Majora's Mask or Link's awakening, no zelda at all).

Thus, I conclude my argument, good night!

I think Midna will return,because,she haven´t eat Hylian food either....
and someone say me a day: if you go to a new place,you have to eat the regional food
maybe Midna is hungry,and the Twili food , maybe is gross

i personally think that link left to maybe try and find another way to get to the twilight realm
and the next game could be based on him finding his way and ending with him and Midna together...well that would be cool anyway :D

I think the idea of Link leaving for another land and finding another way into the Twilight Realm is quite posible. I don't realy care what they do, I just hope they bring Midna back!

I think there is a chance of continuation, simply because they have been making pairs of games with teh same hero lately, Oracle games, Ocarina-Majoras, many considers ALttP and LA same protagonist too, and so with teh first two LoZ...

i know link goes on an epic quest to get the ocarina of time (again) so he can go back in time to right when Midna was just about to shatter the mirrior with her tear and he runs up and catches it right before i collides with the mirrior.

it begins at the place where ganondorf lies. a more evil villain or ganondorfs father will come and pulls the sword out of ganondorf, then the villain let the master sword glow red and change the sword to an dark sword, then the villain puts the dark sword back in ganondorfs belly and he wakes up. i think that would be a good beginning for the new zelda
