I liked the boat and the overworld, even though most people don't like it at all. It gave a very realistic feeling of the epic scale of the world. Even though TP is very big, since hyrule field is made of segments it never feels epic..

Loved WW. Second Favorite zelda game. Even though it had few dungeons, loved the sailing, the island hopping, and the sidequests. Oh, the sidequests! So many sidequests....

Wind Waker - Sailing + 2 extra dungeons = Goddess. + Midna = /silence. Heh. I loved nearly everything about WW. It's is easily my favorite, and really set me up for a big let down of TP.
It was the battle mechanics that really set it apart from any previous game. The camera control afforded by the C-stick, the physics, parry attack, real variety of enemies and weapons, and some undescribable feel that made each encounter come alive.
Music is unarguably the best of the series. Personal Favorite is Fado's theme then Molgera's theme.
Not so much the boat but the sailing was annoying. I was immensely releieved when I got the ballad of gales, though still annoyed by certain trips (namely, Catfish to Forsaken fortress).
The dungeons were awesome, clever puzzles, good balance, a tad too easy though. If only they had gone ahead and put the last two in, it woulda been nice. My favorite is Dragon Roost, really showed the creativty of the new design.
Honestly, the Gamecube is a junky peice of hardware and realistic graphics don't go well. I feel that the cel-shaded style is also more true to the original series. The gross mal-proportioning of the bodies- debatable.
And finally, the story was nice, until I found Hyrule. Then it turned epic, ancient, even kinda divine. The scene before the final battle, with Ganondorf reflecting on his kingdom, is priceless.

I loved Wind Waker! Definatly in the top 3 best games ever, the cartoonish animation fit in well with the character's personality, I thought it was a great game.
I also liked the range of expressions on link's face.

I liked the sailing because it gave a feeling of epicness. I mean sure, it took a while but it really gave you a feeling of exploring. Seeing islands on the horizons, and sailing to it... beautiful.
